COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Statement – National Epilepsy Training

25th March 2020

We at National Epilepsy Training are working tirelessly to adapt our services in response to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. Our first priority is to ensure that our staff and clients are safe and have the support that they need during this time and also to follow government guidance to slow the spread of the outbreak.

For this reason, we are implementing a number of new measures to ensure that we are able to keep everyone as safe as possible whilst still supporting our clients.

No home or site visits

Unfortunately, it is necessary for us to temporarily suspend home visits or on-site visits of any kind. However, we will continue to hold appointments using the remote technology available to ensure that our clients receive continued service. We will continue to attend MDT meetings by phone or video call.

Clients can be assured that we will carry out appointments via phone or video call for which all of our staff now have the necessary equipment and software to do so.

There are certain aspects of our services that require a member of staff to attend in person and these will have to be temporarily suspended. These services include:

  • Environmental risk assessments
  • Support staff training

Working from home

National Epilepsy Training staff are all currently working from home to ensure their safety and further limit the spread of coronavirus. However, all current contact details are still active and any enquiries will be answered as normal, these are:

Phone: 01706 373075

Email: admin@nationalepilepsytraining.co.uk

How long will this last for?

Initially, we will be working remotely for the next 6 weeks at which point we will reassess the situation. This is, of course, subject to government guidance and review. During this time we will continue to work as hard as possible to ensure that our clients continue to receive the high level of service they are accustomed to and that we at National Epilepsy Training offer.

Summary

Although this outbreak presents certain challenges, we at National Epilepsy Training are committed to supporting our clients however possible to ensure continued service throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by calling 01706 373075 or email admin@nationalepilepsytraining.co.uk
